Mercedes-Benz 280SL Pagoda Automatic
This beautiful Mercedes-Benz 280SL left the Mercedes-Benz plant in Sindelfingen on June 2, 1970 as 18,549 of a total of 23,885 Pagodas built. The Pagoda was registered for the first time in San Diego – USA on 11.10.1970.
On 10.09.1990 with a speedometer reading of 113,726ml the vehicle was sold to Escondido – USA.
The 280SL Pagoda was shipped to Germany on 20.10.1993 and was re-registered in Steinfurt on 13.05.1994 with a speedometer reading of 114,928ml. In 2000 the condition of the Pagoda was rebuilt to the German delivery status (headlights, bumpers & radio). On 18.07.2003 the miles speedometer was removed and replaced with a km speedometer. Status 00003km at TÜV approval. In 2016, the vehicle was sold to the district of Lippe with a mileage of 19,500 km. The pagoda has been in the possession of the current owner since 2021.
The pagoda was completely restored in 2016. A picture documentation is available. The well-documented pictures clearly show the accident and rust-free condition of the bodywork.
